Hey there!
My name is Stacy. I grew up on the Olympic Peninsula and I truly love it here.
Photography has been a passion of mine since I could operate a camera. When I graduated high school, my parents bought me my very first dslr. I was hooked. I started a business, and was shooting like crazy.

I went through college and now parenthood and I am still holding my camera whenever I have the opportunity.

Recently, I have switched gears to focus more on the fantastic and magical. I hope to meet you and work with you soon!

Magic Captured
The History:
I have been interested in photography since I was a small kid. My mom was kind enough to let me use her camera sometimes, and even though I accidentally broke one of hers, she gave me one of my own. When I was in middle school, I took a film photography class, and learned about black and white photography, the rule of thirds, and "people without people" from an amazing teacher. When digital photography came around, I was not a stranger. My family's first digital camera took floppy disks!

In 2007, I began my DSLR journey. Again, thanks to my mom. She has stuck by my fascination with photography, and cheered me on whenever I create. I opened a business and called it "Rare Reflections Photography."

I operated that business as a side hustle until 2015, when I had my first child. I have picked it back up again and again, however. The past few years have been quite adventurous for me, and in 2022, I had my youngest child. After re-branding my business as just my name for a moment, I decided to bring back the whimsy. Magic is what it is all about for me, and I would not have it any other way. I do not want you to experience just a standard photo session with me. You could go to JC Penny for that. I want to help capture magic. I want to create art with you! And in 2023, Magic Captured by Stacy was born!
